About Nicole Miller
An American born to a French mother, Nicole Miller trained at the Rhode Island School of Design and the Chambre Syndicale de la Haute Couture in Paris.
RISD inspired her sense of freedom and creativity while Chambre Syndicale gave her a mastery of the class French techniques of haute couture.
Evident in Miller’s silhouettes is skillful draping that highlights a dynamic body consciousness. Echoes of art, her travels, and popular culture combined in unique prints, and wildly imaginative use of color and innovative silhouettes.
The non-conformist glamor of Miller’s creations has earned her many fans in Hollywood. Angelina Jolie, Halle Berry, Beyonce, Peyton List, Ashley Benson, and Carrie Underwood are among those who have appeared in her designs.
Nicole is a CFDA board member and has been the recipient of numerous industry awards such as the Legend of Fashion Award (2006), Fashion Group International Lifetime Achievement Award (2012), and the Visionary Woman Award (2014).
A strong believer in protecting our natural environment, Miller actively supports the Rocky Mountain Institute and Robert Kennedy Jr’s Riverkeeper.
Together with her husband Kim, and son, Palmer, Miller divides her time between New York City and Sag Harbor, New York.
